Definitely not the worst way to start off a blog, with the all but announced Final Fantasy VII Remake.
Hours ago over on Playstation Lifestyle they posted 'inside information' from a well reputed informat that SquareEnix (it still pains me to type that...Squaresoft sounded so much better) will be announcing a PS3 exclusive (it better stay that way) remake of Final Fantasy VII.
ZeroTrace's rules of the remake are as follows:
- The battle system must be the same, no alterations.
- The only bump to current gen should be graphics...
- ...and at a push perhaps the cutscenes.
- If the devs feel a need to change or add something leave it small, like an easter egg that will only apply to fans of the series.
- KEEP IT ON THE FUCKING PLAYSTATION 3!
That about sums it up. I'm hyped for this more than ever (c'mon this rumour is old enough), look forward to the upcoming SquareEnix conf and TGS.
