Ok, so I just found out about this piece of genius, but when I try to run it to give it a go, I just get this message saying:

Failed to Launch

Fatal error occured (5): null
Extracting: lwjgl.jar.lzma to lwjgl.jar

I've tried deleteing the files under appdata and re-launching, as well as reinstalling java, but to no avail.

Does anyone have any ideas?

Managed to sort it in the end by running the exe on a different PC to download the files and then transfering them over. Still pretty weird though.

@Stagger: Try deleting Minecraft.exe and re-download it.

I fixed it by downloading the other .exe.
