Man makes working computer in Minecraft. I shit self.

This guy has used minecraft and it's electric like red ore to create a fully functional 16-bit arithmetic unit. Now, beyond that, he's planning on creating RAM for it and, eventually, allow it to compile programming code.
Now I've seen some big things made in this game that are far beyond the call of duty, but this takes the cake. I'm actually kind of curious if anyone else in this forum has either made, or is making, some crazy contraption in Minecraft such as this.

Well he didn't actually make the entire ship piece by piece, he imported the schematics from format that Minecraf could read.

I honestly don't get people's fascination with this game. Even this I don't get. Is this actually going to turn into a functioning 16-bit computer, or is he just replicating how it looked?

It's a functioning piece of a CPU. A small piece, but still, impressive.

This is the ALU, which is the advanced mathematics aspect of a CPU. The part that does all the hard work essentially. He's also planning to build the other pieces, such as local RAM (cache/registers) etc and eventually even a compiler portion too so you'll be able to use his Minecraft Computer to compile stuff written in other languages into Minecraft Computer Assembly. It'll be slow, really, really slow. But it will work.

I'm confused too.

Sex is healthy as is relationships. he may have been doing it in his spare time and he does have female/male partner(s) as well as friends. So yes. Sex can improve the quality of your life as long as you don't over indulge in it which is the rule for everything including Minecraft.

Could he eventually build other parts of a computer? I'm sure that would take ages, but would it be possible based on this?

Eh, if it's a computer company like that and you have a proof of concept that is that out there, but still, you know, logical you could score a better job then you think. It proves that you have a full understanding of computing and that you can think outside the box.

Yes. He could. There are even LCD displays in Minecraft.
