I had a wild hair go places you don't want to know, and I thought of a funny ass idea that I think a lot of you can get onboard with. We all love the Craft (Minecraft), and we all love challenges (I do), and we all love..........competition?

So here's the idea. We all form four man teams of Minecrafters (or two man, whatever is easiest) that pick a date on the calendar. I will set up a server where you and your four man army (or two, not picky on the numbers) spawn with NO GEAR. You have 72 hours to build something. We come up with a theme (pirates, guns, bars, pizza, avatar, jurassic park, etc), and we have 72 hours to construct it.

You and your team will get 3 days to document your build, show the struggle, and produce a final product which will be judged by pre-determined judges (maybe the GB staff? Can't ask too much).

I just want to know if anybody would be interested in this at all. I can set it up, get everyone on, etc. I think this could be a blast and a great challenge. This would be on PC. Also this could be a monthly, bi monthly, etc. Something fun to get involved with. Each week we pick a different idea?

I've done these kind of challenges before. I think the team option might be the most fun. They guy who runs my MineCraft Server can set this up, make it private, turn off cheats, and place the teams in completely different locations. I think it would be fun to start it off on a thursday night, and we have to be done at Sunday in the morning. Then edit up the footage and have it posted Sunday by 2pm EST? for voting? What do you think?

@hypnotoadbrwowrowrow I also have a couple people who could follow teams on twitch and live stream the event?

Could be cool if it had super fake over the top reality show drama. With the camera room thing but you just see the minecraft dude.

@upperdecker: You're going to want some more time for people to sign up. More cushion time, the better. My vote is to start Wednesday or Thursday next week.

@konig_kei I have three editors I work with. If you and your team get us the footage, we can edit it up like a reality show. I think that's an awesome idea!
