TNT Minecraft - Yes we can!

TNT to me is about letting the community play with the GB crew.
with Starhawk, you can get a bunch of people playing competitively and having fun.
With Minecraft, you get a few dudes just walking around and stacking blocks for an hour and a half. There's no "Throwdown"
What you want is a longer QL. Howbout you ask for that instead?
Also, "fuck Starhawk!"? Seriously? Grow up.
With Starhawk, you get an hour and a half people going pew pew pew. With Minecraft, you get a huge sandbox world where they can do whatever they want, have competitions between teams, try to grief each other, etc and having fun.
See? I can play the oversimplification game too. But I shouldn't need to tell you this, because you're such a mature person, telling others to grow up. Right?
What does your response attempt to accomplish other than making you look like an ass?
You really think that an hour and a half is enough time to do anything worth watching? They are going to build a generic house or a generic castle and click away at the blocks as "griefing". They just started playing this, you're not going to see them make anything amazing.
As I said, to me, TNT is about playing with, and more importantly, AGAINST community members. That's why shooters are the most common TNT, because they fit. Starhawk has the competitive element, but if they want there is plenty for them to dick around with. If you want to see building, Starhawk has that too.
I also wote for Minecraft for this weeks TNT. The Qucik Look was fun and these guys are masters at making the most stupid stuff fun. There would also be possible for them to invite other parts of the crew to toy around and expore their playgrounds. I see much potential for shenanigans!

Well, an hour and a half really. They haven't gone a full 2 hours for a while.
If you want to see people playing Minecraft, you are looking for Yogscast, nobody will ever do it to the quality and volume that those guys have achieved.
I would much rather a Starhawk TNT
Hopefully we can convince them to do both versions. And hopefully we can convince @Nodderly to use his server for the pc one. I've already posted my idea for how an TNT would work on the server thread.

I think we should get a hold of @Jeff and hear if he'll shout out the server info on this weeks TNT...
I said awhile ago, that if a minecraft TNT would happen, then the ideal way to do it would be by: Finding a remote spot on the server, changing the spawn to that spot, and then open up the server and go crazy for the duration of that TNT. Would be awesome to see what a load of people could do in a spot for 2 hours.

That's cool with me as long as Minecraft happens.
Fuck yeah. I would much rather watch them fuck around in MC than watch them play round after round of Starhawk deathmatch.

But I don't care about the people on Yogscast! I care about GB duders! Bring on Minecraft and GB!

I'd much rather have a Starhawk TNT. I don't like Minecraft though, so that's probably why!
That seems fair.
I would much rather see starhawk, do not own a ps3 so love seeing good action from some of its better games

I must admit, I was totally expecting you to come at me with some sort of snarky comment, heh.
rule zero applied. i like it
Hey, if you already have an opinion about Minecraft and it's not your bag, the obvious conclusion is, "I'd rather see anything else." I can't fault you for having an opinion.
Now, if you had said, "Minecraft is just people playing with blocks! I WANT EXPLOSIONS AND COMPETITIVE ACTION," then I probably would have had a snarky comment for that diminutive approach to the conversation.

I guess I'm just used to getting snarky comments in response on these forums, I apologize!

I agree. A Minecraft TNT would be a lot more entertaining than Starhawk. I have a funny feeling that an all Starhawk TNT would end up being like that Need for Speed one. Not enough players.

But I want to watch them play Genesis games....
So do I! The way Ryan was talking about it on I love Minedays makes it sound like a Friday premium stream though. We may get to have our blast processing and eat it too.
After watching Jeff destroy Brads' bed and quickly jumping out of his world in the QL, I approve of a Minecraft TNT.
I'd love a Minecraft TNT. They could go on a crazy underground adventure of some kind. I would watch 1-2 hours of that...
...well, I'd watch more than 1-2 hours, but that's beside the point...
Minecraft is so fucking boring to watch if they are just going to go into the GB server or something.
I'd have to be more than that.
Like burning the entire world.
