    Miner Willy first hit our computer screens back in 1983 when he made his gaming debute in the classic ZX Spectrum title, written by Matthew Smith, MANIC MINER.
    Since then he has appeared in other games including, Jet Set Willy and Jet Set Willy 2: the Final Frontier.
    There was talk that there was to be a third in series called 'Miner Willy Meets the Taxman'. However, this game was never finished and in recent interviews with Matthew Smith there is no plans this game will ever get made.
    Also, this character was featured in an exclusive title on the Vic-20 called 'The Perils of Willy' also released by Software Projects, but was never ported to any other computers.
