    Is it just me or does there seem to be a 50/50 chance that a person will suck at mirrors edge (and hate it) and a 50/50 chance that they will "get" the game and have an awesome time.

    I don't think so. If that were the case, I don't think Ryan would have given it three stars. And for what it's worth, I really enjoyed Mirror's Edge.
