I won't state anything implicitly, but for those looking for a copy of that image without the black bars so as to discern Karmum's true identity and address, a person may be around who may or may not have a copy of the original unaltered image up for sale.

Also, congratulations Karmum. Your free game from TalkXbox actually arrived on time. I'm going to flambe you if your review is tripe though, so watch out.

I got Saints Row 5 days before it was supposedly supposed to be released. Now that is something.

Receiving review copies is always a delight from the moment you see the cushioned white envelope to the second you realise the game you're reviewing is utter tripe.

Of course Mirror's Edge is going to be an absolute exception.

Karmum writes for www.TalkXbox.com, a premier review site filled with up-and-coming young freelance game journalists. They are selected from the cream of the crop; a complex process that involves your previous reviews (you must have at least pretended to have written one) being vetted heavily by someone who never reads them. Prodigies like Karmum and Artie are the best of the best- they get the priority shipping services that always deliver correctly (except when they don't.) You have no worries when you go to TalkXbox, because everybody is professional and everything is well-written. It's really quite the site!

Complete sarcasm, actually. The site is bollocks, to steal a word from the British.

A reminder. The review copies have pretty awful tearing. Several reviewers said that the review copy is not quite as polished as the retail version.

And review copies usually lack achievements/trophies.
Grats though, that's a game that actually matters to get early unlike LittleBigPlanet did for me.....

Plus, Mirror's Edge is flippin awesome.

    Those are debug kit copies
as you can see by the picture, he got a retail copy for the review. That's what is done with most smaller sites since the hardware manufacturers don't send debug units to them.

Review copies usually tend to be the final code, so I don't know what to make of this comment.

Like I said, he confused a review copy with a debug unit copy. Review copies can come as retail discs or debug copies, just depends on the timetable and what equipment the site has.
