I was playing Modern Warfare 2, level 41. I got kicked due to inactivity, (forgot I was in matchmaking) and all of the sudden, it says, unlocked this, unlocked that, and I saw I was level 70. So, what sould I do. I already started prestige, so I could 'start over', but could I get banned for this. I know there are people out there who try to glitch and stuff, but could I get banned/warned for this?

If youve never done anything before all youd probably get is a warning.

Bro theres tons of people cheating with lobbies with boosting, and i doubt anyone of them gets banned. I woundt worry at all unless your the guy hosting the moddified lobby (which req some breaches of the microsoft licence)

A friend had the same thing happen to him. Got a few million XP for a single kill, went from lvl 29, 3rd prestige, to 70. He got a warning, but it was withdrawn after he explained what happened and reported the guys who were in the lobby.

Something similar happened to me during the free weekend, some dude came in "hey guys 1 kill = 1 prestige this my gift to u enjoy" and then I killed a dude and hit 70.
