This isn't a thread complaining about overpriced map packs or OP weapons (as OP weapons happen in most games). This is about tactical fucking insertions. I love to play FFAs but every second match I join has nuke boosters that I have to hunt down. Really. With IW putting in ridiculous challanges and things that are amazingly difficult to do, they should have expected cheating. When they put in tactical insertions they knew from the beginning it would lead to boosing/cheating, who wouldn't? I figured that people would do that with them the first time I saw what they did. They must really not give a shit.
Yea it's been common knowledge for months now that all IW cared about with mw2 was the $$$. They could care less if their game is an unbalanced piece of crap or an amazing game, they were only interested in the money and they knew they'd get it regardless of what they made.

I heard the IW put in tactical insertions specifically to piss you off. This is actually common knowledge. They are reading this thread and laughing at you right now.

It's a sad fact of life that many game developers don't really care much about the community or following of a game after they've put it out as it is, really, not their concern anymore after you've forked over the green. But people in here saying that no game developers EVER care about the people who play their game, that's wholly false. Look at Valve, who supports their games (many times with free updates) well passed their release date. Look at the Street Fighter IV team, who made sure to listen to fan feedback, and indeed based their selection for new characters in Super Street Fighter IV off of feedback from the community. Yes, these cases are the exception and not the rule, but the fact remains that what makes a good developer a GREAT developer are these intangibles, and it's just plain wrong to say that no developers ever care about their gaming community. Indeed, it seems Infinity Ward doesn't, and they are a worse developer for not doing so. Oh, and for some reason, this thread made me think of this...
