Everytime I think about buying this game, I am thinking in the back of my head: "Well it seems a lot like the first one, and I wasn't too much of a fan of the first modern warfare."

B, it's much more different than the first one.

It's more of the same, but refined. However, saying it's  "more of the same" puts a negative label on the game. More Modern Warfare? Hell Yeah!

It's best described as a bit of both. Cliché, but it is.

Put it simply. THE STORY IS AWESOME. Very cinematic very captivating. But I personally am feeling deprived in the multiplayer dept. I feel that it lackluster at best

It plays much like the first Modern Warfare, but has some refinements that make it different, too.

IMO, it's a balance between the two.  It's not more of the same like GRAW2 or World at War, but it's not completely fresh like Uncharted 2, Gears of War 2, or Killzone 2.

Its more of the same.

I dunno, I played the first one for about a week before getting tired of it, I'm still playing MW2 it's holding my interest.

I don't see how something that's refined could be anything but more of the same.

Its a bit of the same. More refinement, but its still more of the same due to the unchanged formula. Though very few sequels even bother changing up the formula.

It's COD4 to the nth degree but mostly in a bad way.
