I don't really want to shell out the cash if the maps aren't really worth it.  I've gotten a lot of mixed reviews from friends, but I thought who else would know better than the mass gaming community that is the internet.

There is a ton of threads about peoples feelings in the MW2 area. Look around..but from what I saw alot of GB users are not happy with how much is being charged.

Did you play CoD4 extensively? No.
Did you not play CoD4 that much? Yes.

No.

I feel it's worth it, the only map I don't like is Bailout. Crash and Overgrown return as fantastic as ever, I really like Storm, and Salvage is good too.

If you feel like you're going to play the game enough (and also have a lot of friends that have the map pack, too), then it's worth it to you. Just because everybody else says it isn't worth it doesn't mean it's automatically not worth it. Most feedback from the map pack has been negative, pretty much from the price tag.
 
In my opinion, I don't think it's worth it. I've been playing MW2 extensively since I bought it last week, too.

For me, yeah it was totally worth it... I have played it so much. But if you don't think you are gonna play it then, of course, I would suggest not worrying about it.

I feel like this line parallels the Stimulus Map Pack Conundrum. No one can tell you whether it's worth it. But you know already, deep down, if you're willing to shell out the cash for some more Modern Warfare 2.

I thought it was worth it... then again I'm getting a bit more pissed off when I hit Crash and Salvage. I would have liked Vacant or Downpour instead.

Yeah it's worth it. They are all probably some of the best maps the game has to offer.

I'll buy them on the ps3. 
I play cod enough that I'll get my money's worth, and like others have said, that is what matters.

i level 67 and am worried that after i reach 70 i won't play anymore so i don't know if i will get the map pack,
