Activision has done it again. The Resurgence Pack coming to Modern Warfare 2 will contain two old maps. It also contains 3 new maps and the pricing is the same as the Stimulus Pack. Does this bother you guys or are you cool with it?

As evil as it would be, I would just keep making map packs and selling them at $15. That way, I wouldn't even need to make anymore games.

*sigh* Would have been nice if they gave Crash and Overgrown the Chinatown treatment and completely redone the map to have a different theme. I mean I'm okay that they're back, but I wouldn't have mind if they took Crash and gave it the Skidrow theme and Overgrown was redone a-la Afghan.

Yeah, that's so janky. Not cool at all. These maps should be free.

I'll eventually buy it maybe but I'm sick of MW2 already and haven't even bothered getting BFBC2.

It's their justification for the $15 pricing. "How can we make the most out of this without letting them know we're robbing them blind?" "Well, we still have all those old maps those Infinite Words fellows made..."

If I actually played mw2 I would hate it, but I think it's a garbage game and still play cod4.

Despite MW2 being my most played game I just can't justify spending 1200 points on maps, I'm happy to wait for them to be the weekly deal on XBL. Easiest way to voice your distaste with the pricing is by voting with your wallet and not buying them.

thats way overpriced, they need new skins and weapons to justify it

I find it hilarious how awkward it gets on the major nelson podcast when they discuss the price of these new maps.

Strike is a great map. That's all i really have to say about that.

Never really liked Vacant. Strike is pretty good though!

Why can't they give us a map pack full of COD4 maps as a sort of fan service. Epic did it.

If they released Overgrown, Strike, Backlot, Crash, Vacant, Bloc, Pipeline, and Shipment all in one $15.00 map pack, I would play this game until I die. But with this? All I can say is I didn't buy the first one and I won't buy the second one. Period.

If I still played MW2, I would probably be into this, as Strike and Vacant were pretty good maps. Just add Broadcast and Pipeline and we are good. But I don't. And thus, I won't be spending $15.

That's just lazy. They shouldn't be charging people extra for the map packs because it has two maps from the old game. $15 for three new maps is still too much, but I'll buy it regardless.

I traded in MW2 for ME2 when Gamestop was having their 50% trade in bonus.  It is the only game I have traded in in the last year so don't start with me on used games killing gaming.

it wasnt infinity ward thats designating the price of the map packs its the parent company, infinity ward stated they are the acting artists only, they cant dictate the prices how ever much they'd like to
