So my question is, is there a difference between grenade spamming and egg tossing (egg standing for educated guess grenade for those who don't know). I always thought the idea of an egg was a little bit more thought out and tactical, where as Spamming is just randomly throwing them. And if they are different, is egging okay?

In my opinion, yes.

Spam is bad "meat" and eggs are nice to eat in any kind of way.

Grenade spamming and egging are two different things.  As you said, egging is tactical while spamming is not.  Egging is also not frowned upon like spamming is.

Okay, because I have definitely been bitched at for egging, look at my radar throw grenade, get accused of throwing random nades.
