If you could have any one previous map redone for Modern Warfare 2, what map would it be? IW has already shown that they would do this (Chinatown, Wasteland), so I'm wondering what everbody's personal favorites are.
 
Personally, I would want a proper remake of Carentan from COD/COD2 (none of that Chinatown crap). Preferably, they would just redo it exactly the way it was and say to hell with their story locales.

Carentan and Toujane from CoD2! NOW.

Theres one is COD2 which is kind of like a farm type area, I'd like to play that one again if it isn't already in another COD game again.

Gela and I think it was called Town Center from Call of Duty: Big Red One.

I was a huge overgrown fan.

Carentan and Toujane from Cod 2, in fact almost all maps from Cod 2. If they release all maps from Cod 2 (with or without modification) I would be so much more inclined to get MW2 even if I only ever played the Cod 2 maps. Which makes no sense since i own (and still play) Cod 2 but still lol

Toujane someone remade this map from COD2 in COD4 PC. They should make for MW2

Caratan and Toujane and have a mode where you can only use Kar98ks.
 
Basicaly I want what COD2 is now.

Downpour. I loved that map because it always inspires an "I totally need to stealth-kill this guy" mentality that I wholly appreciate.

all the COD2 maps, especially the tunisia one with the rooftops, is that toujan? Fuck i played that map for bloody ages, flicking through the lists of games looking for a toujane game, i loved it so much.
 
also crash for COD4 was a good map. 
 
but i would pay good microsoft points for toujane, i don't care if i'm rebuying something i already own, to be able to crush a whole new generation of kids of that map would be sweet.

Backlot from the first Modern Warfare. 

I liked the one in CoD4 with the office in the back and the little courtyard in the middle of the offices, and then the hangar looking thing with the shed outside, the truck next to the shed, and the shipping containers outside of the main building. I dunno what it was called though.

Strike and Crash from COD4, I thought they were pretty good maps.

Crash, hands down. Awesome map. Never could come up enough.

Though I love Toujane (as I previously posted in this thread) I dont think it would be the same without a rifle only mod which is what i spent most of my Cod 2 time playing. Rifle only (no grenades, no snipers and nothing but Kar98/Enfield/Mosin-Nagant), no smoke mod on Toujane was an amazing amount of fun which sadly I found wasent in Cod 4 (though I liked it a lot) mainly because of the shift to the modern day and full-auto rifles as standard.

Overgrown from COD4. Make it happen IW. I will rock that map like there is no tomorrow.

yeah man, i loved the fact you could have multiplae people on the same xbox online. ah yeah i know the invasion one, amazing to do War on, awesome map in fact all the cod3 maps were awesome "

Carentan sounds cooler.

Truthfully? All of them, and have a MW1 map pack playlist. I prefer the old maps.

I would want almost every COD2 map, they were SO good for sniping. Overgrown from CoD4, maybe Crash as well. And the one that a had a huge road running straight down the center, and each team spawned at either end.

you're going to say I am crazy, but I love Shipment. I want it in MW2. I really wish they would find a way to make maps so that old maps work in new games. I already miss the old maps. But I am sure I will learn to love the new ones in time.
