No, I really enjoy the singleplayer.  If it was just multiplayer and there was no Captain Price or jumping off buildings into helicopters, then it wouldn't feel like a Call of Duty game so much.

I have said it in the past and I'll say it again. MW2 SP, much like CoD2, is an afterthought. Would any of you really can say with a straight face that CoD4 and MW2 are so damn popular because of their SP? The reason those game are so popular is only because of the MP, period.

I know a ton of idiots that did.
I mean, paid for MW2, and never even touched the singleplayer or SO for that matter.
    Just the Multiplayer.
    But personally I wouldn't

No, that's just a total ripoff. I'd maybe pay $30, but that's it.

consider that the multiplayer is what i'll be playing for months to come, then yea i probably would. they would have to ship with more maps and such but if that was the case then yea i could buy it for 60 dollars.

I would for sure. And the extra for the NV goggles!!!!!

Seriously probably not though, even though the multiplayer is like 85 percent of the quality of that game.  I feel like I have fun playing the single player as well.

    Yes.

Although Single player was pretty freakin sweet. And easy enough on Veteran so it was cool.

I honestly think you need both.  Say CoD 4 sold around 13 million; I don't think it sells half that number if you take away either SP or MP.  Given that the SP in all of the CoD games is still streets ahead of most SP-focused games, I definitely wouldn't describe it as an afterthought.

No. I'm not a big fan of multiplayer games. So while I may play MW2's multiplayer here and there, I mainly bought it for the campaign and co-op modes.

No way.  Why pay anywhere near that when Warhawk and Battlefield 1943 are cheaper?  Maybe they are a bit long in the tooth or aren't as polished as MW2, but there's no way I am playing full price for half a game.

He's already had those ideas I bet which is why there were rumors of a Modern Warfare MMO.

Yes, the single player is the weakest part of a great package with MW2.  I'd definitely buy it for multiplayer alone.

I sure would. I'd be pissed off there was no campaign, but the MP is well worth the price-tag in my humble opinion. I would definitely get my money's worth out of the multiplayer alone.
