    Infinity Ward went Down! 0

Call of Duty 4 was a big success with millions of people who bought it and played it for 2 years forgetting about World At War. Then Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 came along and from millions of Cod 4 players it went to thousands. Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 was really just bought for the online and not the story. If you are like me an average games who plays 30minutes-1 hour everyday then you probably tried the Campaign first to see how good it is.The campaign was short but fun. Next we went ...

    MW2 Review. 0

I had been waiting for months for this to hit my Xbox but I was still very skeptical about whether or not this would re-raise the bar for FPS' like CoD 4 did. This game rocks...... It is better than CoD 4 in almost every way.... Despite the fact the gameplay remains the same it feels very different as there are tons of changes that are very exciting when you see them first time. The graphics have been improved by a long way and tiny things such as the way glass breaks when you shoot it and thing...

Exciting at first, Terrible in the End 0

I was very, very excited for this game when it was released, I even stood in a line, waited for three hours, got it, went home, played it for a month... then sold it. If you ask me it was interesting to begin with, a fun...ish multiplayer, but the single player was a failure, just an over the top action movie with the 'realistic' tag slapped on. My complaint isnt the realism issue, i could care less about how realistic a game is, I play Halo. But heres the thing: a good game is balanced.  Modern...

One of the best modern first person shooter games to date. 0

Modern Warfare 2:Game play: I haven't played modern warfare 1 but I really liked the campaign and the action of the missions are awesome the visual effects sound effects are all good and have impressed me throughout the hole campaign. All of the missions are fun and there is not even one mission that I haven't liked. I am eventually going to beat the game again on veteran maybe since I was really interested in modern warfare 2. I have never thought that I would be interested in this style of gam...

Good fun, but has an identity crisis 0

I only played this game with the single player in mind. Yes, I know I am probably one in a thousand people who doesn't care about the online play. At any rate I enjoyed the campaign but like I mentioned the game takes itself and settings very seriously at points and then will flip and be an action packed popcorn kind of shooter. Regardless each level in a self-contained perspective is great and well executed....

Fun That You will be coming back for again and again. 0

Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 is game that I have a blast playing. There are 3 Game mode in Cod2 and all of them offer a great amount of Value for your money.  The Single Player Campaign was a fun Action pack Fps that you usually looking for , but more with the good voice acting and variety of stage to play on which is just the blast. The story does get confusing mid way through the game , but the Intense Fps kept me going for about 10  hours or so on Veteran(more if you collect intel like me).  T...

Over the top, in a good way 0

Modern Warfare 2 takes all the strong elements of the original Modern Warfare and cranks it up to eleven. The quality gameplay is still there, but the story just goes over the top – in a good way. Any semblance to reality goes out the door in favour of jaw dropping sequences. This coupled with a really strong multiplayer element, including a co-op feature, makes it pretty clear why this game is so damn popular.    ...

    Mordern Warfare 2 review 0

Modern Warfare 2 is an FPS that was suposed to blow everyone away. Well it doesn't live up to its hype. I heard that its single player had a great story and amazing action packed levels. That is a lie. A story is not even there and by the time I got to the snow mobiles, which was suposed to be awsome lasted about 5 minites and had lost all interest in the story. The Co-op is very hard the way I played, and if you scwed up once you die of a smuckers allergies and this gets real old real quick. Th...

Modern Warfare 2? more like 2xModern Warfare 0

Modern Warfare 2 is the successor to the famous Modern Warfare game and it makes enough fixes to make it a better game than the first to make Modern Warfare 2 a must buy. The story plays out like the previous game following certain people either from the US rangers or a special task group called Task Force 141.  I won't get too much into the story but the games is like a top notch action hollywood movie and it is done with amazing Infinity ward style.  It took the few amazing scens in the first...

    I just don't see it 0

So this is a less-positive review than most of the other reviews of the game around here. I've had the game since November but obviously haven't been on here that long lol. Anyways here we go.  Story: One of the lesser things in my opinion about Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 is the story. 3 years ago Call of Duty 4 gave us realistic but fictional(aside from the setting) and is on part with a realistic war movie(a good one.) But Modern Warfare 2 swtiches to a much less believable(though some thi...

    Value by numbers 0

I distinctly remember the very first time I played Call of Duty. I was sneaking through Normandy after an airdrop, I lit some beacon, an alarm went off and complete chaos erupted - first person shooter campaigns were never the same after that.   Modern Warfare 2 attempts to take that very moment and stretch it over the entirety of its 5 to 7 hour campaign. It's as if the developers had a mandate to ensure that at any given moment there should be as much going on visually an audibly as possible. ...

"If it ain't broke, don't fix it" 0

The expression "If it ain't broke, don't fix it" should have been the tagline to Infinity Ward's Modern Warfare 2. Let's be honest here. 2007's Call of Duty 4 was literally as far as any developer could possibly go to relight the dim candle of innovation in the first person shooter market. While it did the obvious thing by improving the cinematic quality of the gameplay and in-effect enhance the immersion of the campaign the multiplayer made the biggest change of all. Infinity Ward's in...

    Contemporary Armed Struggle #2 0

i really like this game when you play as an american soldier being invaded in washington by a ton of russians who teleport over the sea its really an immersive experiance. its hard to describe how cool is it to be able to serve next to us troops they even have names its almost like really realistic and when you play as those russian guys who shoot up a airport but no one can tell they are russian for some reason its kinda confusing but then they shoot you in the head and russia is pissed cuz it ...

It's One For The Record 0

Two years after the sensation that was Modern Warfare, a sequel at last! So, Task Force 141 looking for Makarov, Zakhaev's former right hand man, and the USMC fighting the Russian army whose invading the US. Soap (the protagonist of COD 4) returns and is now fully voiced. With its amazing graphics that were nicely detailed at the time, great soundtrack, and so much more, Modern Warfare 2 sets the standard for shooters. Unlike Call of Duty 4, instead of the story being a statement about war, it's ...

Campaign and story short review 0

MW2 lacks the consistency, gravitas and impact of COD4’s campaign.  It’s the blockbuster sequel to a modern classic: full on flash, low on substance.  The plot is interesting and has some neat twists, but the campaign is too short (around 5 hours on normal, 5-10 on veteran) to do it justice: too much of the story is left to player extrapolation, important information is said in passing and there are lapses in logic and plot holes aplenty.   Fortunately, the game propels you forward on pure adren...

    I'm guilty, I liked it. 0

While playing the singleplayer mode of this game, I didn't understand what was all the fuss about, an average shooter with nice graphics, wide variety of weapons, and good storyline, but other than that, I felt like Modern Warfare's Singleplayer experience was just too plain simple. I shot that guy ,threw a grenade there, hid behind cover to heal myself, and basically that's it. The singleplayer for Modern Warfare 2 was not as fun as I imagined, and yet people got so excited about this game, whi...

    A Little To Far 0

Call of Duty 4 is one of my favorite shooter campaigns ever. The multi player was also really fun but didn't really keep me interested for to long.  Modern Warfare 2 picks up after the end of CoD4. The campaign follows a similar style and many people found it to go to far this time around and be to unrealistic. But I really enjoyed it. However i found the last chapter rather ridicules, going rogue and hunting down a man just didn't seem call of duty to me, and they really left to much open for a...

Great Game Except for hackers 0

the feel of modern warfare 2 is great. if u love high blu-ray style graphics u would like it on the PC version. the spec-ops feature is good but some of them are TOO HARD. Multiplayer is fun but sometimes people hack and get all the prestige stuff and/or game winning killstreaks all the time....
