Hardcore Ricochet: HQ Pro has been added.

Yuuuppp, just been reading loads of threads of people wanting this back, log on, and see it. Currently only ~1000 people playing on PS3 version so I doubt it's been there long. For those of you who don't know, Ricochet means that FF returns back to you.

8-12 players
Limited HUD
Extra Bullet Damage.

That seems to be the only new thing.

Also, Free for All now has more maps added. ALSO, DLC confirmed for Spring.

Great news, Hardcore HQ was where I spent most of my time in COD4. But no DLC until spring? Crap.

Goes to show it's not on the disc, or they just don't wanna upset the fans anymore. In fact, it's good. They have time to make some awesome DLC in that time.

Also, I'm not a fan of Hardcore HQ. I die wayyy too much for my liking in that.

Technically, Hardcore gives players less health, not more bullet damage.

RICOCHET IS THE SHITTEST IDEA EVER.

The amount of times I've killed people with Airstrikes.

Seriously, I'd rather lose some points.

Ricochet is when bullets or throwing knives deflect off of something like a shield and go in another direction. People getting killed by airstrikes or bullets is friendly fire.

Also its pretty cool to know that this mode has been added, though I probably won't play it since I don't like Hardcore. Was this a mode before that they took it?

No, Ricochet in this sense is when the friendly fire you cause damages you instead of the person you hit. So when calling in a airstrike or something, you're effed.

I don't think you understand the way IW or Bananas is using the word ricochet.

As AdziBoy and RiotBananas has stated, it means friendly fire (which is enabled in Hardcore) will "ricochet" off your teammate and back onto you.

@Meteora: In the real world it is, but IW and alot of other developers of FPS games use the word Ricochet to describe a type of Friendly Fire damage.

Go up behind someone on your team and knife them, you'll see what I mean. ;)

@Infininja: @RiotBananas: So... basically you damage yourself if you shoot your own team mates? Sounds similar to the TK penalty in COD4.

@Meteora: Yes you do and personally I really hate it, I prefer the old system of getting points taken off me. I mean, points mean prizes.
