I was just wondering, with the recent hullaballoo about the dedicated servers thing for PC users, does that mean that if I'm playing MW2 on PC i'm going to have the same shit online experience as I would have if i were playing on the 360? (I live in Australia, and as any aussie will tell you, COD4 always resulted in playing with americans where us aussie were at a disadvantage due to latency etc). I was only going to get MW2 on the PC because of the server browser, and the ability to play aussie servers (ie. Gamearena, Gamespace etc). So i guess that now that there's no dedicated servers, ISP's can't offer their own servers to play on either? Anyways, what I'm essentially asking is if I'm going to end up getting dropped into overseas games where I have high latency if i buy the PC version of MW2

Australians are doubly fucked because the Government make no effort to roll out decent, uncapped and fast connections either.

so yes, i guess i'm fucked in all holes. no matter what platform i get it on, it'll be difficult to get consistently lag-free matches. my net connection isn't that bad. i have 40gb peak and 120gb offpeak, and ADSL2+ speed, so not too bad. if only i could use that connection to its potential in aussie matches! argh!
