Hello and Hello!

I'm not exactly sure I'll be buying this, as I was slightly burned by MHF2, but hell, people somewhere are probably happy about it, and the latest game in a star franchise is nothing to balk at. Chalk another big release up for the PSP in 2009. Going to be a helluva year.

If it has online play then sure. But I don't know if I would buy it for just a few new monsters. I still can't beat Fatalis on MHF2.

It only has online through Ad Hoc Party on the PS3, which the class act idiots up at Sony haven't bothered releasing to us American plebes yet.

Hah that is weird, wonder why there is a paid subscription model with the wii port of 2G and for 3.

Eh, none of the PSP MH games have online. Unite will be local play only, but it's said Sony will offer a service that allows you to play such PSP games online. The catch is you have to have a PlayStation 3. It's kind of like using Hamachi on PC to play LAN only games online. You'll be able to play a game designed for local play online. All the past online enabled MH games on PS2 had a fee to pay in Eastern releases, but were free to play in the West. It remains to be seen how CAPCOM goes about for the Wii's Monster Hunter 3, but since nowadays it's made so easy to pay for online content or services, they'll probably have a fee in the West also. On the other hand, MH was never too popular in the West, and with their wish to push it harder in these territories with the upcoming games, perhaps they'll have it as a free to play. We'll just have to wait and see.

Well I have a PS3 so I'm fine with the online part but its still lame its not online just off the PSP. I don't see any reason it cant happen unless it would be as choppy as the PSP Browser is.

Also I think monster hunter has had a hard time in the US because its so much work. Its an offline MMO basicaly, if online play was an easy menu option or is Sony just was able to bring it to the PS3 and have there own console MMO like that DC thingy thats coming out I think that the game would be decently successful but so far there has been little to no help on Sonys part with advertising or anything for that matter on the series.
