The info people got from it so far is that there's a "new slash axe" a "new gunlance in collaboration with Enterbrain", the "bowgun now features 3 parts customization" whatever all that means for seasoned players.

You can view it here, but it's not like you'll understand anything. Feel free to add new bits of information you come accross, or better images.

Other information from the same article state there's some kind of arena mode challenges, both for split screen co-op and online, which time and rank your attempts to defeat certain bosses.

Torches can be used to keep smaller enemies that are afraid of fire at bay, which you can take advantage of by mining or whatever without fear of their attacks.

There's a new weapon type, the slash axe. It's basically axes that are retractable like old school razors.

There are 7 weapon types, but each will have "more depth" than before. For example, the bowguns comprise of 3 different parts you can mix and match. Barrel, Frame and stock.

    1. Small Sword + Shield
    2. Lance
    3. Hammer
    4. Bowgun
    5. Big Sword
    6. Long Blade
    7. Slash Axe (new)

They may also have sub categories though, for example Gun Lances are still in, so it remains to be seen exactly what has been removed altogether (like the horns).

There's more interaction between enemies, both against and with each other.
"if you attack a pack of the comparatively weak Jagi (a smaller version of Dosjagi) on a stage that includes Dosjagi, the large dinosaur will rush to your section of the map to aid his allies. And when the flying Kurubekko gets backed into a corner, it can call on monsters that aren?t even in the area to come help him."

The monster animations are far more natural than previously.

A slash axe can be seen here.
