    Pure awesomeness

This game is a hard-core fencing hack and slash, and adventure game at the very best. Even though it is old, and perhaps looks poor at first glance, this is not the case, as it is just pure awesome!

To begin with, you choose from 4 different knights, and then choose a cool name like sir killalot, before you delve into a world of beasts, dragons and things wild. What once was peaceful land, will be covered in the entrails of foes and beasts alike, if not your own.

    Gameplay:

There are 6 different sword strokes, and three defensive moves - one block, one dodge, and just move away. You can also purchase throwing daggers, if you use up the ones you start with. There are the possibility to purchase better armor and swords, if you are not able to pry it out of the hands of your slaughtered enemies. You can also buy spells and potions to empower your knight. Trough your conquest you will have to battle with wild trolls in huge packs, giant blue monsters with huge sticks, and so on. If you beat the monsters you can get the treasure they are protecting, and if you are lucky you get a keystone, which is the object of the game. If some of the other knights are more successful then you, or you are just feeling spiteful or have blood lust, you can challenge them in a duel. If you succeed, you can loot their bodies, and perhaps steal a keystone so you can finish the quest first. There is also a ferocious red giant dragon that will try to kill you at every chance it gets, but be ready and patient. The loot is worth it. The world to explore have towns, and towers where you can seek council of wizards or gamble your hard earned gold, and rest thy weary body...if you need that sort of thing...sissy

Seeing as though it is old, it is mostly impressive how they managed to make this game so incredibly good, but the fact that it is old, it also comes with a negative side if you want to try the game today. The enemies are tough, and controls hard to refine, but when you played the game a little, you get the knack for it, and start killing with brute. Playing this game with a friend is recommended. You can now compete for the treasure, fame and dames, along with the computer controlled knights. Oh yeah, this is really fun, because before this is over, you will have to kill you friend to win the game, which means fury, betrayal gore and decapitation!! The sword play consist of fast paced strokes and parry, along with throwing knifes, which equals one hell of a showdown, believe me.

    The end:

When you have got the four stones to gain entrance to the final boss, I can tell you now, its totally lame, and not coherent with the game, but put this aside, it does not ruin the game in total.

Enjoy the game, it is wonderful.
