    Tried playing the game earlier and but it locks up my computer when I try to play the tutorial. (Locking up as in the screen freezes and the sound hangs, forcing me to reset the entire computer.)

    Anyone else having this problem? I'm trying to find out if it's a widespread issue.

    Does it occur in all modes? Or is it just going into training?

    @artisanbreads: I have only done the tutorial so far. Tried it, it froze. Rebooted, tried again, froze again.

    I think I got pretty far into the tutorial the first time but the second time I didn't even get to the combos (kombos?) before it went to shit.

    i7 2600K at 4.2GHz

    16GB DDR3 RAM

    AMD Radeon HD6950 at 6970 specs linked in CrossfireX with an MSi HD6970 (so basically 2 stock 6970s running in CrossfireX)

    Just to be safe turn off CF and test it out. Which card is on your primary pcie slot the 6970 or unlocked 6950?

    @junkboy0: The MSi 6970.

    I'd prefer to stay in CrossfireX though, a 6970 by itself is pretty weak these days.

    Also having stability issues, although I assumed it had to do with my overclock. Usually just crashes to desktop, but I got a BSOD once.

    That's a bummer. It's been working flawlessly for me.

    Maybe try redownloading the game if that's not an issue for your connection.

    I've turned down all the settings and I've managed to get through the tutorial now. Still getting massive slowdown and general performance issues during matches, especially the water stage. Considering this was done by High Voltage (who also did MK9) I'm going to guess this game is just horribly optimised. Even in MK9 I got some weird pauses and slowdown sometimes despite my PC being vastly more powerful than what the game needed.

    EDIT:

    Oh hey apart from being horribly optimised the game has a memory leak as well!
