    That trailer happened,
    Who did you spot?

I'm pretty certain I saw the following characters:
    Raiden
    Sub-Zero
    Kung Lao
    Shao Kahn
    Nightwolf
    Reptile
    Mileena
    Johnny Cage
    Cyrax

I think that's pretty much all of them.. you guys spot any others?

No Cyrax, but Sektor is the robot you see in the trailer.

I noticed most of the characters they showed were dead in the "canon". And I didn't notice any ridiculous cutscenes and I didn't see copious amounts of blood. They really don't know their audience.

It's a trailer, why would they show a lot of violence? Did you not see the end? Raiden started up his fatality that has his hat cut the guy down the middle from the balls up.

They wouldn't show violence if they were going for a T rating. You know, like they did last time. Before Midway went belly up.

R movies and M games get redband trailers. Yall seem to want to avoid the obvious conclusion here, that they're gunning for a T rating.

@ryanwho: Stop and read what these people are telling you. Perhaps read a couple of articles regarding the game. This Mortal Kombat is a back to basics approach - it'll give fans what they want: violence on a 2D plate.

As someone else said: direct your attention towards the last couple of shots in which characters prepare their fatalities.

Whatever, I'm not that into Mortal Kombat. I don't know the characters.
