So what do you guys think of Kenshi? So far I haven't played with him online but it seems he has tons of potential. While I'm not the greatest MK player I am pretty good and have managed to get some nice combos out of him.

Offical Kenshi thoughts thread
I haven't messed around with him yet, but even single player wise, how's he feel compared to say Ermac? I mean those two are so similar it seems like the differences analogous to Ryu and Ken.
He's basically a rushdown Noob Saibot, which was exactly what I expected. Haven't spent a lot of time with him, but he seems like he has a lot of interesting tools. he also has the most overheads of any character, I think, which will make him hell on turtles. He doesn't seem like nearly as complex a character as Skarlet either. Take that however you like.
@StaticFalconar: They play significantly different. Emarc owns the mid-range but has no closeup game, where as Kenshi has a strong closeup (at least at first glance) but virtually no mid and long range options.
They're similar but different... i wouldn't go as far as to say they're the Ken and Ryu of MK...
I'm still upset they haven't added Skarlet or Kenshi to the Nekropolis though... and no alternate costumes... yet... lol
EDIT: I got to say though, I HATE the way he moves...he looks weird when he walks around on the screen...bleh

His projectile seems incredible. Difficult to read, pretty great EX damage.
Definitely not an Ermac clone. Like people have said, his moves echo Noob's more than anyone, but he still has enough to differentiate himself from the group. Not as technical as Skarlet, either, so you'll probably see more people squeeze more elaborate strategies from him.

I feel like my options are really limited at any kind of range.
He's definitely a bad-ass, though.
You're right. Any quick teleporter beats Kenshi at range.
And by "quick teleporter" I mean "Kung Lao".
@extremeradical: I've been getting a lot of mileage out of his...I dunno what the official name is, but the one where he concentrates and his TK self does a 3-hit combo at any range. It's not great, but if you can bluff with a few of his overheads, the opponent isn't ready for it.
I love playing as him online, and I'm having WAY more success with him than any of my other choices. His combos are effective and have a really good execution time, his specials are versatile (except against Noob. I had someone spam his shadow charge then use his teleporting piledriver whenever I got close and, I'm sorry to say, beat me like that) and he's overall very fun to play. When I CAN play him, anyway (I'm still pissed that those compatibility patches aren't mandatory).
@extremeradical: Oh don't get me wrong, he's not GREAT at range, but he does have options, at least. And if anyone besides Noob spams projectiles, Kenshi can just reflect them. Which takes half of Mileena's cheapness out of the equation.
@SoldierG654342: I had a Mileena V Stryker in which I found it damn near impossible to punish anything she did. So maybe it's just that match in particular, or maybe it's that I didn't know the correct way to punish.
