I really like playing Johnny Cage, surprisingly.  He's got a pretty good moveset, and a fair amount of kombos.  But he also has the reversal glitch on his xray.  So even though it's in the game as shipped, is doing that in an online, player match a dick move?

Hrm never had that glitch happen with me when playing Johnny Cage for the limited time of getting through the arcade ladder with him & odd other times in random online fights or story mode. Yeah just don't use it when it glitches & spend the power on counter moves or enhanced moves.

A similar glitch exists with with Cyber Sub-Zero's enhanced ice parry, and yes it is a huge dick move. Don't do it, it's obviously not working as intended.

I'm going to say that yeah, it'd be a dick move to do this to people online. Pretty weak that it's in there at all.

That move is hard enough to watch once. Poor Cyber Sub Zero.

How has that not been patched and removed yet?

Because it takes time and money to put out a patch, and I imagine they want to fix as many things as possible with the initial fix. They're aware of it.

 Exploiting glitches is always a reportable dick move to me. "It's in the game" is such a bullshit justification, especially when you're perfectly aware that that is not how something is intended. Luckily, it's easily beaten if you know that's what they're doing, and I've been lucky enough to not have run into it online.
