OVERVIEW:I have to say that i love the mortal kombat series. Are fantastic in every way.It has graphics, gameplay, sound and of course the stab of the series gory violence. It's satisfying to cut your oponent's head with a fatality. After years of failure with the debut on the PS2 it's time for a revolution of the series. The result is a fantastic game that renovate the series.STORY:The story continues after the events of mortal kombat armagedon.Raiden fought with shao kahn and loose. But before shao kahn destroy raiden once and for all Raiden sends a message to his future self that he must let hapened that in the future. The story is very good whriten and it's the best story in a fighting game i have ever seen for a long time. You take control of several characters and follow them their special story. This mortal kombat is between the first and the second so will be familiar the fans and the new will undrestand for example why scorpion wants revenge from sub-zero.GAMEPLAY:The gameplay is the same with the previous games but comes new addicions as well in the table this time. It's character you choose has his own personal kombat abilities. For instance scorpion is a master ninga in martial arts and use his super abilities to become victorious such as the element of the fire.A new addicion to the series is the x-rays moves. When you have done a very big damage to an oponent down of your screen there is abar. When the bar is full you can do the x-ray moves that are awesome to see and hear. You watch the bones of your oponent break in half from the impact, tooths through from their mouths and skulls become pieces. This is one of the most violent games that are out there. Also you can take part in challenges such as the classic the your might, quick match and others. But the biggest addicion to the modes is the challenge tower. In this new mode you must pass some fun challenges to get to the top.Is a very nice addicion to the series and will meke you sit in front of your screen for hours. The tag team a new addicion in the series. You can play with two characters in the fight to combine your attacks for a deadly hit. This is available to the story mode to.The fatalities on the other hand couldn't be missed because that mortal kombat is all about. Are once again gory and bloody this time with the the power of the XBOX 360 and PS3.You can notice the nervs, the hearts, somachs, brain and others.MUSIC:The music is great. The theme song of the series is here too and of course you can hear everything.Bones break, bodys cut in half with the skin, the footsteps all are balanced for the ultimate mortal kombat experience.GRAPHICS:The graphics are amazing every detail has been made very well from the muscles of the fighters, the nervs to their hands, their colthes all are wonderful. The envoroments reminds the old 2-d mortal kombat times but are amazing detail. There are of course the enviromental fatalities and the babalities to break the monotony of the violence.VOICE ACRING:The voice acting is very good with all the actors gave it all especialy the actor that makes the voice of Scorpion.LASTING APPEAL:Is easily the best mortal kombat game in the series yet. With the reborn of the series and fun gameplay, superb graphics, true to the series violence, music, voice acting and variety of modes espesialy the challenge tower is higly recomended to all the fans of the mortal kombat series and the gamers that love the fighting genre.
