Thanks to Scion, people in the US get Motorstorm RC for free for a limited time. This is £4.79 cheaper than in the UK!!! It's nice to see Sony being so flexible with game pricing.

I'm so glad I decided to ditch my shitty NZ PSN and start fresh with a US account on the Vita for all the awesome deals and wider selection.

It's tomorrow afternoon, Pacific time, by the way.

Any free game is awesome in my book

the game is pretty cool, i havent played much yet. big micro machines / super off road vibe going on, kinda hard to play at first

so can people from other countries not just log into a US account and d/l it for free?

I mean, on my PS3 I log into a Japan account for demos from time to time.

problem with the vita is that if you want to do that you would have to reset everything (meaning all your games you have with another region's PSN account would be gone) and then put in your US account because you can only have one PSN account on a Vita (no logging out of it, you're stuck with what you set it up with). So if you wanted to do that you would continuously have to reset your Vita every time you had to switch accounts, which sucks (unless they decide to allow multiple accounts in the future)

*edit* either that or you will need to have a different memory card for your vita, which is not as difficult, just a little extra money.

You don't even have to search, it's the first ad at the top where the featured items are shown.  It's the big car with the tiny Motorstorm logo.

yeah for me that would be normal... I think mine's at around 250 minutes left? That's highly abnormal...

This game is really neat and addictive. I love how the leaderboards are done. Also, every game should have trophy progress on the Live Area screen.

It wasn't there before I went to bed last night, but it was there before I left for work in the morning. The game is on my Vita now. I haven't played it yet because I'm stuck on a level in FFT and I am drawn to beat it!

I guess they made up for giving Motorstorm RC away for free on the Vita by breaking out a crapton of the cars in it into paid DLC. Classy.

I didn't expect the plethora of trophies it has attached to it. I was expecting maybe 10 or so, but damn! Even if it was a 10 dollar game, they usually dont attach platinum trophies to PSN games. Not to mention the game is suprisingly fun and addictive. I'm not much for racing games, but chasing a gold arrow through a course is actually pretty fun. Best zero dollars I never spent.

The great thing is that even if you don't own a vita yet you can still "purchase" the free vita version on your PS3 so that you have it for when you eventually get a vita.

I did this last year with a couple PSP games when Sony gave away four games in response to the major PSN outage.

I did too. I have been playing Killzone Liberation and hopefully ModNation Racers makes it on eventually.

I also got the game but I can't get used to pulling back on the stick to brake because my finger isn't in the right position for a quick switch. It is a really good game for free though.

I now have 2 free games on my Vita but still haven't purchased a game yet. I want Uncharted but I just can't make myself spend $50 for a portable game no matter how good it looks.

@sopranosfan: I paid $50 for Uncharted but then turned around and sold it for $35 shipped on eBay after I beat it. I suggest looking there or half.com. I wrote a review for it here. It's a good game.
