Overview
Emiri Kanou is a teacher at Gekkoukan High School in Shin Megami Tensei: Persona 3, as well as its remakes Persona 3 FES and Persona 3 Portable. In all three games, she plays an important role in Kenji Tomochika's Social Link. Kenji, one of Ms. Kanou's students, is smitten with her, and over the course of his Social Link storyline, he works toward establishing a relationship with her until reality comes crashing down on him; Ms. Kanou already has a boyfriend her own age and hadn't meant to make Kenji think she returned his affection.
In Persona 3 Portable, Ms. Kanou plays a role in Rio Iwasaki's Social Link as well in the female protagonist's side of the game. Ms. Kanou serves as the adviser to Rio's sports club, though she is largely inattentive toward her duties. She also serves as an inadvertant rival to Rio for Kenji's affections as Rio's feelings of friendship toward Kenji grow romantic.
While interacting with Maya in the Online Game Social Link, the Main Character learns that Ms. Kanou pads her bra in order to increase her bust size.
