The Mugello Circuit is one of the most varied and competitive race tracks in the world. It's total length is 3.259 miles stretched over a series of 15 turns. What sets the track apart from many courses is the fact that its surface area is almost evenly divided between straight-aways and curves, with 48% of the track being straights and 52% being turns. This allows a variety of vehicles to be extremely competitive on the circuit. The Mugello Circuit is host to many different kinds of racing events, but MotoGP is the main event at Mugello, along with several smaller motorbike events. The track is also used for road racing and is featured in the popular road racing simulation Forza Motorsport 2. In addition to road racing and motorbike racing, the Mugello Circuit also functions as a test facility for Ferrari's F1 cars.
