A Gamespot live demo shows you a Octopus boss encounter, which is inspired by Japanese artist Hokusai's "Great Wave"

Also, this is the 3rd time in an hour that i've heard the term metroid-vania used to describe 3 seperate products. In the space of about a month that term has come back with a vengence.

Of course the secret boss is a tentacle demon.
They mentioned Grim Gromoire and Princess Crown in the video. Anyone ever play those? They worth playing? I know Grim Grimoire is a strategy turn based game.

I have them both,. If you have a Sega Saturn I would recommed Princess Crown if you like the look of this. It can be a bit pricey though.

Edit: the next time I went out on the boat a mermaid appeared and gave me the "Yata Mirror"

I have Grim Grimoire and yes, it is worth owning if you have a PS2.   It is Real Time Strategy if memory serves me.

Their other game, Odin Sphere is better though - my personal view of course.  Both great games however.
