I totally agree, I actually think It's the best baseball video game I've ever played. I can remember downloading the updated rosters the year after and still playing it with friends from high school.

Although MLB 08: The Show is pretty fantastic.

Yeah. Definitely my favorite as well. Not sure why, but it is. Everything about it was just right.

I agree as well.  They just don't come close anymore.  I still buy the new MLB games, but look back on this one with reverence and compare all new ones to this one.

Plus it has Manny on the cover.  Go Sox!

I absolutely adored this game. It reignited a love for real baseball that had long been dormant.  Even today, it's still worth loading up on PC and getting updated rosters from one of the mod sites.

I really liked this game. Another all-time favorite baseball game of mine was World Series '98 when I had my Sega Saturn.

I agree. I think its the only one I've played (from the series), though.

Anyone else here play High Heat Baseball 2003? That was my other favorite baseball game.

Also a *long* time ago I used to play Triple Play Baseball 2000.

@ItalyCanadian9 - This is baseball! Not basketball!

I have MVP 2005 for the pc, payed $5 for it, you can get mods for it that update the rosters, among other things. I also have High Heat Baseball 2002 for the pc, I don't play that one anymore. I did play High Heat Baseball 2003 on the ps2 and I loved that game.
