Be a hero in this rudimentary brawler from Sega, which challenges players to beat up foes using jump kicks and glass bottles in order to save your girl.

Concepts

2D

Sure, these days have almost every game sporting the newfangled 3D, but way back when, everyone had to live with plain old 2D. 2D, or two dimensions, limit the game to scrolling backgrounds, but some games even now make use of this basic concept.
Boss Fight

A boss fight is a culminating challenge that pits the player against one or more enemies representing a greater threat and/or difficulty than those previously faced. These scenarios typically feature unique antagonists.
Damsel In Distress

The concept of a helpless female character in desperate need of rescuing by a male protagonist, in most cases from a villain, or from a form of impending doom.
Hand to Hand Combat

Henchmen

Henchmen are the loyal grunts caught in between the player and the main antagonist. Without them every game would be nothing more then a last boss battle.
Jump Kick

a jumping or leaping kick often portrayed in action movies.
Kidnapping

Kidnapping is often used in videogames as a motivation for the protagonist to venture into unknown worlds and fight seemingly hopeless battles.
Lives

The concept of lives in video games evolved to let the player get a second chance after failing once. The most recognizable symbol is the heart.
Male Protagonists

This concept is for games in which the main character is male.
Pig

Pigs are pink, oinking mammals with a button nose and curly tail. They are rumored to eat a lot and be dirty. They don't fly, but they do bring home the bacon.
Porting

Porting is a term used when a game designed to run on one platform is converted to run on a different platform. Quality varies, though some titles are packaged with extras.
Revenge

Revenge is a dish that is best served cold.
Side-Scrolling

Side-scrolling games present the world as viewed perpendicular to the direction the characters are facing on screen. With a heavy focus on lateral movement, objectives are often met by moving from one end of a stage to the other.
Sunset

The time in the evening at which the sun begins to fall below the horizon. Followed by Twilight.
Window Enemies

Enemies attacking from a window. Usually requiring a special technique to defeat, if possible.
