MySims

MySims is a video game that consists of 3 releases

Take the control of a personalised Sim as you try to make your city more popular!

MySims was released September 18 2007 on the Wii, it's main focus was to allow the player total control over his or her neighborhood. The game gives the player the ability to create other characters homes and furniture using blocks, which are unlocked from leveling up the town by getting residents. This title is the first of the MySims franchise which takes roots from the original Sims and Sims 2. The game makes use of the Wii controller, pointing and clicking where to move, and for building, dragging where you want the parts to fit.

The furniture creator allows you to place almost any blocks down, only requiring you to place cover certain areas, which are indicated by glowing stars. After you are finished creating the furniture, most residents require you to add certain paints to it, which wasn't well thought out by the creators, as there is usually more require paint than pieces on the furniture.

The game itself only has one goal, move in as many residents as possible.

PC Version

MySims was officially announced for the PC at E3 2008. While the PC version is just a port of the Wii version, there are new additions which include multiplayer support. Multiplayer supports up to 8 players and can play hide-and-seek or tag, trade items or build a garden.  There are two modes of tag: classic tag and zombie tag. In zombie tag, the person who is "it" has a storm cloud over their head and has to tag as many people until there is only one person left. Another addition is six new NPCs to meet and the ability to send files of your creations to other friends via e-mail. The PC version will ship October 28, 2007.
