Naruto: Rise of a Ninja is an open world, RPG/fighting hybrid exclusive to the Xbox 360. It's based on the popular anime series Naruto.
Through the course of the game you will complete missions for villagers and your sensai alike, there are a range of missions from saving puppies to defeating elite Ninja. All the way through the game, you will be free roaming and being able to go anywhere you are able to access. So you are able to got out of your village any time you wish, and it doesn't have to be in line with the story. You are free roaming in other areas outside the village walls also, so whether your on top of a building in your village, or running on water outside the walls you can go wherever, whenever....Unless you drown.
Another key aspect of Rise of a Ninja is the fighting system, when you get into a fight the game stops being free roaming and you go into a one on one fight against your opponent, and the environment where you are fighting depends on where you are when you are flung into the match. Speaking of fighting, there is a fight mode where you are able to either to a single battle on its own against an opponent of your choice, or a competition mode where you fight against the games 10 playable fighters in a row. As well as this, there is also, the forest of death exam. In this you go on Xbox LIVE and have a competition against real people around the world, if you win depending on the character you are using you will get an achievement.
