Let’s just get the obvious out of the way first; Naruto: Ultimate Ninja Storm is a beautiful looking game. The cel-shaded graphics combined with the superb animation just blows the mind and at times looks even better the show. But rather than talk endlessly about how awesome it all looks (which I seriously could), let's just move on. When controlling your character in battle, the player uses O for melee, X for jump, Triangle for charging your chakra meter and Square is for throwing shuriken/kun...1 out of 1 found this review helpful.
Naruto always has had a lot of potential which many game developers try to squeeze out of the franchise. CyberConnect2 and Namco Bandai have definitely come the closest with NUNS. The game is beautiful, with a great in-depth fighting mode, and the Ultimate Mission mode is just about the right length to actually play through it again and get the 100% that everyone desires. Excellent Naruto game. Highly recommended to any fans of the manga/TV series. The fighting system is fantastic and offers much of the small input/big output gratification that God of War characterizes. The option to select English or Japanese voices was also appreciated. While there are some mission types in the main mode that will get tiresome, the story arc missions are as good or better than watching the TV series.
