Naruto: Ultimate Ninja Storm is an upcoming exclusive Playstation 3 game based on the acclaimed anime series.
Overview
Naruto: Ultimate Ninja Storm for the Playstation 3 is CyberConnect2's latest instalment in its Ultimate Ninja series, based on the highly acclaimed manga and anime series Naruto. Unlike previous Naruto Ultimate games, Ultimate Ninja Storm features a 3D combat environment, allowing the player to engage in the most tactical and true-to-show fighting experience ever seen in the Naruto Ultimate series.The game is set to feature a story mode that spans from the first episode to the end of the Sasuke retrieval arc, and promises to allow players to "free-roam" the iconic Naruto locale of Konoha Village.

There will be 25 playable characters available in the game, including fan-favourites such as Sasuke Uchiha, Neji Hyuga, Kakashi Hatake, Rock Lee, Gaara, and of course everyone's favourite hyperactive knuckleheaded ninja, Naruto Uzumaki.So far, the list of confirmed characters are:

Downloadable Content
It has been confirmed that Naruto: Ultimate Ninja Storm will be receiving free downloadable content from the first week of the game’s launch. The DLC will consist mainly of new support-characters and single player missions.
The scheduled list of downloadable support-characters is as follows:
- November 6, 2008: Shizune
- December 4, 2008: Asuma
- December 18, 2008: Kurenai
- January 8, 2009: Anko
- January 22, 2009: Jirobo
- February 5, 2009: Kidoumaru
- February 19 2009: Tayuya
- March 5, 2009: Sakon
It should also be noted that each character is also accompanied by a new single player mission.
