Naruto is a popular anime and manga created by Makashi Kishimoto, which has expanded into video games in the last five years.
Overview
Naruto is a manga/anime series that was created by Masashi Kishimoto, and tells the tale of a young ninja; Naruto Uzumak. The story of Naruto begins when Naruto was just a baby and a nine-tailed fox demon was terrorising the village of Konoha. The 4th Hokage sacrificed himself to seal the demon fox into a vessel, and that vessel being Naruto Uzumaki. Ever since then, Naruto had been treated as an outcast; always alone and despised by the villagers. Naruto feels he has something to prove to the villagers, always trying to get attention and often getting into trouble. He attends the Ninja training academy in Konoha and is part of Squad 7; a team comprised of Sasuke Uchiha; the sole survivor of a powerful clan, Sakura Haruno; a girl in Naruto's class that he has a crush on, and squad leader Kakashi Hatake; a highly skilled ninja. Together, they embark on various missions.
Manga & Anime

Over 400 Issues of Naruto Manga (Or a weekly Comic Book) have been produced for Shonen Jump Magazine. It is among the most popular manga and has been since it's inception. This has no signs of slowing down anytime soon. Typically they are printed weekly in Black and white.
Two anime that follow the stories in the Manga have been made. The first was simply called 'Naruto' and told the story of Naruto's world in the times of Naruto's Youth. It ran for 220 episodes and is currently being dubbed into english. The second series is called 'Naruto: Shipuuden' (or Hurricane Chronicles) and begins several years after 'Naruto' ends. The voice talent is highly regarded here, as Voice Actors are considered just as popular in Japan as Televesion Actors of hit shows in other countries.

Naruto has spawned a number of highly profitable Movies. These Movies are usually of high quality and contain elements popular from the Anime and Manga. Naruto fans in Japan are awaiting the release of the second Shuppiden film as Sasuke will star as one of the main players. The names of these films includes the following five.

Original Animated Videos of Naruto usually allow charterers not prominently featured to get a taste of the limelight, and usually in some popular combination of battles or abilities.
They aren't as long as movies. Because they are bought in stores and not shown on TV like the Anime the quality is usually higher. They do not necessarily easily fit into the Naruto timeline. These include the following four.

Many, many items have been made for Naruto. Including, but not limited to, Dart Boards, Stationary, Clothing, a Card Game, backpacks, plush figures, and action figures. This is a very lengthy list that is composed of most everything that can be sold related and be in any way related to the show. For example, Naruto wears a black sleeping cap when he goes to bed. This cap is made and sold. In this way they can make a synergy of sales. For example in the Manga and Anime they can advertise the upcoming Nartuo movie, at which they have a pair of friendship necklaces availble for fans (One pressed with an image of Sasuke and the other Naruto).
