Nathan Drake is the protagonist of Uncharted: Drake's Fortune for the Playstation 3. He has direct ties to the famous explorer Francis Drake and spends his time treasure hunting through various exotic locales.

Overview

Voiced by Nolan North, Nathan Drake is the adventuring main character and protagonist of Naughty Dog's Uncharted: Drake's Fortune. Nathan believes that he is an ancestor of famous explorer Sir Francis Drake, who is believed to have not fathered children. Nathan Drake is a treasure hunter and during the events of Uncharted: Drake's Fortune, he searches for the lost city of El Dorado. His mentor and friend is Victor "Sully" Sullivan, who joins him on many of his adventures. During Uncharted, he meets Elena Fischer, a journalist and star of a documentary style television program. Later in the game, he develops a love/hate relationship with her.

Drake seems to amass a vast knowledge of the world around him, even showing that he can speak Indonesian in a few scenes. He is also very resourceful, making friends as well as enemies in locations all around the world.

Drake has amassed a long list of enemies during his adventures, however. His known enemies are Gabriel Roman, a rival treasure hunter whom Sully owes money, Atoq Navarro, his partner and archeologist, as well as Eddy Raja, another rival treasure hunter.
