Considered both the Goddess of Wisdom and the Oracle of Ages, Nayru plays an important and reoccurring role in the Zelda series.
Nayru Goddess of Hyrule is one of the three creators of Hyrule, the other two being Din Goddess of Power, and Farore Goddess of Courage, her two sisters. She passed on her wisdom to Hyrule, and upon leaving, left her segment of the Triforce in the Sacred Realm. Nayru is credited for the existance of physics, Hylian Law, and Link's attributed power, Nayru's Love (a spell cast upon the self that protects the caster from all damage). There are references to Nayru in The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask, The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, and The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess.
Nayru Oracle of Ages is a prophet in the land of Labrynna. She is named after Nayru Goddess of Hyrule. After Veran enters the land and possesses her, she indirectly relies on Link and Ralph to set her free. In her free time she plays her Harp of Ages, and sings to a group of forest creatures. Nayru makes a small appearance in The Legend of Zelda: The Minish Cap.
