    NBA Elite 11

Game » consists of 2 releases. Released Nov 05, 2010

EA's renamed basketball simulation set for an October 2010 release was cancelled at the last minute due to concerns over quality. The game was intended to introduce brand new control concepts and mechanics meant to innovate on the simulation basketball genre.

    It's on ebay....

Hell of a premium to pay for some potentially interesting insight into games development and such... Still, can't believe this even made it out there (although, considering how far ahead of release games need to be printed, it makes sense when you take into account the last minute cancellation) but would love to see video of it posted online - anyone want to spent $1000 to give us said privilege?

Really? A thousand dollars...seems a bit steep for a game no one really cared about.

Agreed. Still, not only is the game around 5 months away from release, but will likely have undergone massive changes by then to sort out the issues. Someone with more money than sense would surely take the plunge for those two reasons alone (although with 2K's basketball game getting such universal praise, the allure may have been dimmed somewhat).

$1000 seems like a modest price for the coming of Jesus Bynum.

It seems like a pretty good investment if you've got $1k to put into a long term investment. Very rare video games are always worth an absolute fortune.

How is it rare? Isn't the game still coming out?

But games usually go up in value from the initial $60 to a couple of hundred or even $1,000 - never seen a game start this high and then sell for more. Not a guaranteed return by any means, especially as the final version may not exactly be revered as a cult classic, especially with NBA 2K11 getting all the plaudits for now.

Of course it doesn't have a case, it's not a retail copy.

It's definitely not coming out in it's current form. And I personally doubt NBA Elite 11 will ever come out, It'll probably stay in development until this time next year and then they'll call it NBA Elite 12.
