No way am I paying $60 for a wrongly packaged "NBA JAM light". I thought Activision were the assholes in the game industry.

I'm not really a fan of basketball, but enjoyed NBA Jam back in the day.  Definitely would have bought it for some nostalgic arcade action..  But being forced to buy a full price basketball sim?  I'll pass..

I'll wait for the XBLA release, probably in time for NBA finals next year. 
till then I'll play the wii version since it still looks fun.

EA I will never buy a regular 20xx sports game even if you pack in one of the most notoriously fun sports games with it.  Guess I might just have to miss out on NBA Jam  :/

if this was 20 or 25 bucks with online & hd and the ful game on live or PSN, i'd be there day one. i may pick it up for the wii...maybe. It wont be day one though, and as far as the chances of me picking up Elite. Not going to happen!

I really don't care enough about Elite 11 to try and relive the past. Roms are good for that.

I was iffy about getting the new Jame game, now EA has made my mind up for me. I'm hoping since NBA games don't seem to fly off shelves that Jam will eventually make it onto XBLA and PSN. Oh well, I'm fine playing ol' Jam TE in all it's original glory.

Solution! Pay $60 for Elite. Download the game. Sell Elite on craigslist for $50. $10 for NBA Jam seems to be a decent price.

It's not really a surprise since EA is having exclusive things for all of their games, look at Battlefield. I might buy Elite 11 since I need a new NBA game and NBA Jam HD better be exclusive.
