NCAA Football 2007 is the 10th game in the NCAA Football series. The theme for NCAA Football 2007 is "Turn the Tide." It features former USC Trojan and Heisman Winner Reggie Bush, who currently plays for the New Orleans Saints. This is the first next-generation NCAA Football game.
Campus Legend
The Campus legend is similar to the NCAA 06 version, however, is only featured in the Xbox and PS2 versions. The Xbox 360 does not support this feature, and will be seen in the NCAA 2008 version (which, is also on the PS3). You start out by going to a football camp, perform in some drills, and you are awarded a scholarship and get to pick in any Division 1-A program. From there, you begin your 3-4 years on that team, going through different teams, and hopefully ascend to the Number One ranking, and win both the Heisman and National Championship.Differences from Last Year
This year focuses more on momentum from last year. There will be a momentum meter by your scoreboard, and if you perform big plays, touchdowns, and stop your opponent from scoring, your momentum meter will rise. If you give up big plays, touchdowns, and make mistakes, your meter will drain and theres will rise. If your meter is maxed out at 5 bars, everyone on your team will gain 5 in attributes for the time being.Xbox 360 Version
The Xbox 360 version is considered to be the stripped down version. Although it supports online and leaderboards, you cannot play in Campus Legend, and have very limited features. You can create a player, but only goes into just his name, face appearance, and attributes. You cannot customize the way he looks (such as items on arms, and face visors, etc.). The Xbox 360 version supports ESPN integration, however. The 360 version features several mini-games, such as Tug of War, and a bowling-like mini-game. The Xbox 360 version sports more advanced visuals and graphics, and is the first NCAA Football game on the next-generation (now current), generation of consoles. The Xbox 360 version does support a Dynasty Mode, with recruiting abilities, and much more.Xbox & PS2 Version
The Xbox & PS2 Version are similar to last year, and do support the Campus Legend mode. The options such as creating a team, and player are here from last year. Online mode is featured here as well. The Xbox & PS2 mode have the more features as opposed to the 360 version, however, the Xbox 360 version has advanced visuals, and it is debatable as which versions of the game are better.
