    Development

On February 1st, a Kickstarter campaign was launched to complete development of Nebula. The developer also released a downloadable beta demo.

    Overview

In Nebula: Sole Survivor, players begin their journey as Ivy Howlett. Ivy grew up in South Africa where her dream was to find something exciting to do with her life. Seeing an opportunity to escape the mundane she left everything behind and joined the United Interstellar Administration at 16.

Ivy was promptly relocated to an isolated maritime base to begin her training in science and as an Aerospace Engineer. During the rigorous testing Ivy continued to surpass her peers, which quickly brought her to the attention of the Director of the United Interstellar Administration. The personal sacrifice and grueling training finally paid off when she was personally invited to be a part of the Astronaut program, specifically for the upcoming Jupiter Project. A life-long dream of Ivy’s was finally coming true.

Yet everything would change on day 67 of that mission - Infection spreads.

Nebula: Sole Survivor uses a third person view with a blend of both action / shooter and RPG design elements. Powered by the Unreal Gaming engine the graphic styling supports a tight frame of view through a light source held by Ivy. This adds to the fright factor while not overly limiting the game play.
