"His existence is said to be linked closely with that of Lechku. Their names have roots in the ancient word "Lechkunechku." Some interpretations of this are "One counts time," "One offers death," "Gears of the moon," and "The key that holds the beginning." - Nechku's Bestiary Entry from Okami

The Silver Demon Nechku is a boss from Okami. With his brother Lechku, they make up the twin demons of Wawku Shrine. He's a mechanical owl wearing a top hat, monocle, and wields a cane. In his chest he has a clock in the style of a digital readout signifying his ability to manipulate time by speeding it up.
Nechku's history is touched on by Issun who explains that he once existed as a statue and came to life to terrorize the land well before the events of the game. He was eventually defeated and sealed away by a hero from the Oina Tribe, but escapes later due to the growing power of Yami. Together with his brother Lechku, they attempt to bury the Oina Tribe under ice and snow with a raging blizzard. The first encounter with Nechku is hardly a battle due to the mysterious appearance of Amaterasu's past life. The second time is a proper boss battle as he fights alongside Nechku.

Nechku has similar attacks to his brother Lechku. From his hat he can summon a number of projectile attacks and signature moves of previous bosses. He can use Ninetail's sword, the Spider Queen's eggs, Oki's Icicles, bombs, and exploding giant buds. After going through a number of projectile attacks, he can swoop down and catch Amaterasu with his talons and crush her to inflict heavy damage. A special attack he has with his Lechku involves stopping time so he can slowly creep up on Amaterasu and impale her with his cane.
