Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit

Game » consists of 23 releases. First released on Nov 16, 2010

Criterion's reboot of one of the most popular games in the Need for Speed series. The game features Racer versus Cop gameplay and can be played from either perspective at any time.

Is this game too "twitch"-based to use a racing wheel?

Some games, like GT5/Forza 3, are vastly improved when played with a wheel. Other games, like Burnout Paradise, don't work so well with a wheel because of the speed of the game. I know Hot Pursuit is a lot like Burnout but its car handling is still more realistic than Burnout.. has anyone tried it with a wheel? Is it better or worse than with a controller?

I was on a forum talking about the time trials in that game and it seemed a reasonable number of people were using wheels and having at least average or above success.

Hmm, I should dig mine out of storage (where it's been since Forza Motorsport 2) and give it a whirl.

I can't get used to the Xbox wheel; I played it at a friend's, but the lack of corrective force feedback really killed the experience.
