I'm looking at buying this game but does anyone know who has installed it on PC, does the overlay work?

Not really sure what you are asking but I'm assuming you know it's only available on Origin. If you add a non-steam game to your steam list, it should still work since Origin's overlay uses SHIFT+F1.
