I've read about how there's progression to get different cars, etc. What's there to do after reaching whatever top end car there is for each faction? Not to belittle free roaming, but does it just become top tier cars bashing into one another for increasingly large, but otherwise useless sums of money?

I just "beat" the racer career. There's technically an ending and credits. But the world remains open and you can screw around and go be a completionist.

I started the cop career right after but it didn't seem too thrilling after the madness towards the end. So I may be done. Must've taken around 10 hours.

@sarahsdad: There's a closing cutscene, which is just as ridiculous as the rest of the story. They open up the speedlists you don't choose for completion, which is nice.

I hope EA continue with the edgy story telling in next years NFS.

Thanks all. I was really looking forward to Drive Club, and with it delayed I was really hoping that the always online nature of NFS would hold me over a bit. The more I've read and seen, the less that seems likely. Anyways, thanks again for the feedback.
