Good. Bad. I'm the girl with the dice. 7

Neverwinter Nights was ahead of its time, and like most things ahead of its time, it took a while to fully appreciate some of its qualities. Its aspirations to be this great platform for digital D&D adventures was at the very least partially successful in that it has to this day a dedicated community of modders and creators, building upon the foundations set by Bioware back in 2002 with its Aurora engine.I, at 18, having just started my Philosophy degree in London, was having none of it howe...

Arguably one of the definitive D&D role-playing games ever. 0

Back when it was released in 2002, Neverwinter Nights was highly acclaimed for its near perfect implementation of the 3rd Edition Dungeons & Dragons rules and a multitude of online options making it easily the RPG of that year. But 5 years later, does it still hold up to games which have much better graphics and refinements of the same formula? The answer really depends on a lot of factors. Amazing game but has flaws 0

Lets just get this out of the way from the start, if you are not a fan of DnD this game is not for you and you should probably run very very far away from it....... there now that all of 2 of you are remaining and have yet to retreat back to your mothers basement let me tell you about one of the greatest DnD 3D games ever to grace the PC or any platform for that matter. Neverwinter Nights came onto the scene back in 2002 and got great reviews from the PC and gaming community.Graphics     At laun...

    Don't believe the hype! 0

One of games destroyed by creators promises of making something special.  This game was hyped up to the space. Back in the day almost everyone was talking about it and good reviews and previews talking about revolution and new standarts made this game a obligatory possition for every rpg fan. Thruth hurst this time because Neverwinter Night ended up as normal hack and slash rather than true Dungeons & Dragons role play. Especialy when you compare it to previous works of the team like Bald...

    So Addicting! 0

Like I said above, this game is highly addicting. It is the greatest hack-n-slash action-RPG I have ever played. Even better than Diablo, IMO. The only downside to this game is that it was released for PC only. I'm a console gamer and would have loved to have seen this ported to the XBox or Gamecube or something like that. This game is a hack-n-slash, action-RPG game based on Dungeon and Dragons rules and set in the Forgotten Realms universe by Atari for the PC. It has a similar gameplay style to...
