If you haven't played little King's Story game before, you may have played an Animal Crossing or Harvest Moon. What these games have in common is gathering resources and expanding your land. New Little King's story follows these conventions but more simplified. You start off with your kingdom being attack by monsters and being ejected to the forest. The aim is to rebuild your kingdom through gathering gold and buying land. You start off with a few residents that need to be trained to carry out tasks, soldiers to kill enemies, farmers to harvest vegetables and construction workers to build bridges. As you progress further the number of people following increases and you can gather more gold faster. At the end of each day your items will be appraised and you have the choice to expand your kingdom.
The game has a suggestion box which is essentially a place where missions will be added such as boss fights to further the story. As the king you can command your followers to perform these tasks, while you can take part your health is generally low and it doesn't take much to send you to the hospital.
The main problem with this game is the frame rate issues that occur randomly. Having zero followers or the full amount the game will stutter quite badly for a few seconds and this does happen often. Another issue which can be annoying is at certain areas the camera is locked and cannot be changed which can impact you in severe ways.
Overall the gameplay is quite simple i did enjoy it for a while but the process of gathering gold, expanding the kingdom will grow tiresome.
